What does SISE manufacture?

We design and machine precision spring contacts and connector components: canted coil spring rings, spring contact fingers, spring-in-spring sockets, torsion spring jacks, crown and rectangular blade structures, pin-type jacks, board-to-board connectors, energy-storage connectors, power and charging connectors, standard spring-loaded (pogo) contacts and custom connector terminals. Parts are made from beryllium copper, high-conductivity copper alloys, stainless steel and special alloys, with gold, silver, tin or nickel plating.

What makes a canted coil spring different from a traditional spring?

A canted coil spring delivers near-constant force across its working deflection range, so contact pressure stays stable even when mating parts shift or surfaces vary. The coil also self-compensates for dimensional tolerances and misalignment, which simplifies assembly. The same component carries current, provides mechanical retention and — depending on the structure — grounding or shielding, so one part can replace several.

Do your products meet international standards?

SISE operates an ISO 9001 quality system and holds IATF 16949 certification for automotive supply. Materials follow their applicable specifications (for example C17200 beryllium copper per ASTM B194), and our power/charging line includes J1772-interface and XT60/XT90 connector products. Tell us the standard or interface your project targets and we will confirm the matching option.

Can SISE manufacture custom parts?

Yes — custom work is most of what we do. Send a drawing, a part number or a target specification and our engineers will confirm material, geometry, tolerances, plating and pricing for your application. Typical customization covers wire diameter, ring or jack dimensions, material grade, plating, coil geometry and mounting method.

What materials and plating options are available?

Base materials include beryllium copper (C17200/C17500) for elasticity and fatigue life, high-conductivity copper alloys such as C18150 for high-current work, stainless steel for corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, and special alloys for extreme conditions. Plating options are gold (low contact resistance, long life), silver (high conductivity), tin (cost-effective power connections) and nickel (corrosion resistance). We recommend a combination against your current, temperature and environmental requirements.

Do you provide engineering support on custom projects?

Yes. Our engineers review your drawing or specification before quoting, confirm feasibility and tolerances, and advise on material and plating selection. During prototyping and production we can supply test data such as contact resistance, insertion force and dimensional reports so you can validate the part against your design.

How do you control quality?

Production runs through in-house machining, spring coiling, assembly and inspection under an ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality system. Key dimensions are checked in-process and on final parts, and batches are traceable through our manufacturing records. Certification and inspection reports are available on request.

What is the typical lead time?

Lead time depends on the part, quantity and finishing requirements. Standard parts are confirmed with your quotation; custom parts are scheduled by material, tooling and batch size. We give you a firm schedule before you place the order.

Can I request samples?

Yes. Contact us with a part number, drawing or specification and we will arrange samples and a quotation. Samples include basic performance data where applicable so you can verify the part in your own test setup.

How do I request a quote?

Use the “Request a Quote” form on any page, or email us directly. Include your part number or drawing, target quantity, application and any electrical or mechanical requirements so we can respond with an accurate price and lead time.

Which industries do you serve?

Do you work with international customers?

Yes. SISE exports to OEMs and distributors around the world and is set up for cross-border supply — English-language documentation, international freight and customs paperwork are handled as part of the order. Share your destination and quantity and we will confirm the best shipping option.

What information should I include with a request?

The more specific, the faster the response: product type or category, key dimensions (wire diameter, ring or jack size, insertion or retention needs), material and plating if specified, target quantity, and the application environment (current, temperature, vibration). A drawing or part number covers most of this.

How do your contacts perform in demanding environments?

Multi-point contact structures such as canted coil rings hold stable contact pressure under vibration and shock because contact is distributed across many points rather than a single surface. Corrosion resistance comes from the base material and plating — stainless steel, or gold- or silver-plated beryllium copper, for humid or corrosive service. Share the operating environment and our engineers will recommend a material–plating combination and confirm performance against your test criteria.

Can your contacts work with third-party connectors or pins?

Yes. Our sockets and pin jacks are machined to match standard pin diameters (for example 1.58, 2.8, 3.6, 3 and 6 mm), and we can produce a socket to a specific pin you supply. If you are mixing brands, send the mating pin and we will match the interface rather than asking you to standardize.

Do you provide EMI/RFI shielding springs or contacts?

Spring contact fingers and canted coil rings are commonly used as grounding and shielding contacts, and our crown blade and finger structures can serve that role. Describe the frequency range and interference you need to control, and we will recommend a structure and material.
