Description

This Charging Module Connector is a DY-series 4-pin plug-and-socket assembly, supplied as a matched pair so both halves are sourced together. Metal guide screws pull the silver-plated contacts into correct alignment as the two halves come together, which keeps rack installation straightforward. The connector is engineered for 30KW and 40KW charging modules that conform to the State Grid interface, raising the power-on capability of the module so users see shorter charge times. Both 30KW and 40KW module power classes are covered by this one connector, which simplifies spares management across a mixed charging fleet. The same contact system also fits UPS power supply, communication power, and photovoltaic energy-storage equipment, where its State Grid interface offers strong compatibility across vendors.

Mating Design

Every contact sits in a crown-spring structure that delivers high transmission current with low resistance. The plug side of the assembly is welded to a curved board, while the socket end is crimped straight onto a 16 mm² power cable. Signal contacts are built with solder and crimp construction so the control wiring stays dependable. Once the plug and socket are fully mated, the floating screw provides a float of ±0.65mm, absorbing the small misalignment between a charging module and its mounting frame.

Applications and Customization

SISE links this connector to Telecom, Electric Vehicles, and Energy Storage & Battery Testing, where a pre-mated assembly shortens installation time on site. The ±0.65mm float also lets the mated pair ride out minor frame tolerances in multi-module charging cabinets. When the standard 4-pin arrangement does not match a particular build, the custom-engineering service can adjust the layout to the project's power and signal requirements.
