J1772 Jack & Pin

Precision-machined silver-plated male connector pins and their matching female contact socket terminals form the J1772 jack & pin product line. Each contact is turned from brass or T2 copper and silver plated, with the body sized to match the charging standard's pin diameter. SISE supplies the complete set of contacts a charging connector build needs, whether the connector targets the American J1772 standard, the European IEC62196-1/2/3 series, or the Chinese national GB20234.1/2/3 requirements. The photographed parts show the machined pins and the socket terminals that accept them, both finished in silver. Specifications

Pin jack sizes cover J1772 at 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm and both IEC62196-1/2/3 and GB20234.1/2/3 at 3mm; 6mm. The standard finish is silver plating over brass or T2 copper. Plating and materials can be customized to customer requirements, and individual current levels can be tailored to the connector design rather than locked to a single rating, which keeps the contact set flexible across the charging architectures these standards describe.

Applications and industrial range

These jack and pin contacts are linked to Electric Vehicles and Micro-mobility charging applications.
