Ring Spring Jack

The ring spring jack is a precision female pin jack assembled around multiple canted coil spring rings seated inside the bore of a silver-plated connector socket. The product photograph shows the socket loaded with its canted coil rings, with loose contacts laid out alongside ready for assembly. Because several rings share the bore, the inserted pin is met at a number of points around its circumference rather than at a single contact point, which is what gives the ring spring jack its name. It is produced for new-energy electric vehicle (EV) charging connectors and for industrial connector applications.

Pin jack sizes across the charging connector range are 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm and 3mm; 6mm, with silver plating over brass or T2 copper. Plating and materials can be customized according to customer requirements, so the jack can be matched to the rest of the charging contact set.

A full set of industry-use connector jacks is available in sizes 1.5/3/5.7/6/8/9.07/10/12/14/15/16/18/20/22mm -28mm, with individual current levels customized to customer needs. The company also offers springs for shielding that simplify quick shielding interfaces, in specifications 35mm2, 50mm2, 75mm2, 90mm2, etc.
