Description
The rotary spring jack is shown in the product image as silver-plated female socket connector terminals next to precision machined contact sleeves, the turned parts that carry the rotary-spring contact inside the jack. The machined sleeves give the contact a stable bore geometry when the pin is inserted, and the silver-plated terminals present the finished mating surface. The rotary construction, built around its turned sleeve parts, is what separates this jack from the ring- and leaf-style jacks in the same precision pin jack family. The rotary spring jack serves new-energy electric vehicle (EV) charging connectors and industrial connector applications.
Sizes and finish
Pin jack sizes: 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm; 3mm; 6mm. The standard finish is silver plating over brass, T2 copper, and plating and materials can be customized according to customer requirements, so the rotary spring jack can be matched to the charging contact set around it.
For industrial connectors the jack range runs from 1.5/3/5.7/6/8/9.07/10/12/14/15/16/18/20/22mm -28mm, and individual current levels can be customized according to customer needs. Shielding springs for quick shielding interfaces are also available in specifications 35mm2, 50mm2, 75mm2, 90mm2, etc.
Because the rotary spring jack depends on precisely machined contact sleeves, the bore size and sleeve geometry are set to the customer's pin diameter and current requirements at ordering time. The silver-plated terminals and machined sleeves shown in the photograph are the standard build for EV charging connectors.
