Description
This 60A board-to-board connector is built on a torsion spring jack, with gold-plated spring-loaded pins mated to canted coil sockets and carried in plastic housings. The torsion spring core sits inside the jack, and the photographed pairs show a spring-loaded pin meeting its canted coil socket. It is made for new-energy electric vehicle (EV) charging. The 60A rating applies to this jack's use in EV charging connectors, where it forms the current-carrying contact of the mating pair.
Specifications
Pin jacks are available for the full set of charging connectors: 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm; 3mm; 6mm. Silver plating is standard over a brass or T2 copper substrate, and plating and material can be customized according to customer requirements. The same torsion spring construction serves the charging jack families.
Applications
Linked to the Electric Vehicles application, the 60A torsion spring jack is used in EV charging connector builds that need a higher current contact. Individual current levels can be customized according to customer needs, and a full set of connector-industry jacks is also available: 1.5/3/5.7/6/8/9.07/10/12/14/15/16/18/20/22mm -28mm. For interface shielding, the company supplies springs for shielding in 35mm2, 50mm2, 75mm2, 90mm2 and others, customizable to individual customer needs. These shielding springs provide quick, convenient interface shielding.
