Description
This board-to-board connector is produced as a multi-pin module that gathers gold-plated spring-loaded pins together with their contact sockets in one assembly, aimed at new-energy electric vehicle (EV) charging connectors. The jacks inside cover the full set of charging connectors, so a single module can carry the pin jack sizes used across the main EV charging connector families. Each module is delivered ready to mate, with the spring-loaded pins aligned to their sockets.
Specifications
Pin jack sizes are 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm, and 3mm; 6mm. Standard plating is silver over a brass or T2 copper base. Plating and materials can both be customized according to customer requirements, allowing the finish and substrate to be matched to a specific charging contact design. Both jack families are produced from the same module range.
Applications
Linked to the Electric Vehicles application, this multi-pin module is used in EV charging connector builds where several spring-loaded contacts must share one mating assembly. Outside charging, the same spring-loaded jack family is offered in a full set of industry-use sizes from 1.5/3/5.7/6/8/9.07/10/12/14/15/16/18/20/22mm -28mm, with individual current levels customized to customer needs. The company also supplies springs for shielding, which simplify quick shielding interfaces, in 35mm2, 50mm2, 75mm2 and 90mm2. Springs for shielding can be customized to the individual needs of customers.
