Description
These board-to-board connectors are delivered as two-pin modules that pair a gold-plated spring-loaded socket with its matching contact pin inside a black housing, a form built for new-energy electric vehicle (EV) charging connectors. Each module keeps one socket and one pin together as a matched pair, as seen in the black-housed modules. The sockets and pins support the full set of charging connectors, covering the jack sizes used for EV charging.
Specifications
Socket and pin sets are produced at 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm and 3mm; 6mm. Silver plating is standard on a brass or T2 copper body. Plating and materials can be customized according to customer requirements. The gold plating on the socket and pin is visible at the contact area in the photographed modules.
Applications
Linked to the Electric Vehicles application, the two-pin modules are applied in EV charging connectors where each circuit mates its own socket to a matching pin. The same socket-and-pin design extends to industry use across jacks in 1.5/3/5.7/6/8/9.07/10/12/14/15/16/18/20/22mm -28mm, with current levels set to each customer's need. The company additionally offers springs for shielding that simplify quick shielding interfaces, in 35mm2, 50mm2, 75mm2 and 90mm2, and these can be customized to individual customer requirements.
