Description
This custom board-to-board connector is built as gold-plated pin blocks held in black insulating housings, available in multiple pin configurations so the layout can match a specific EV charging connector. The multi-configuration block is the photographed form of this product, where gold-plated pins sit within the insulating housing. It is engineered for new-energy electric vehicle applications. Plating and materials can be customized according to customer requirements, so the block is not limited to a fixed finish.
Specifications
Pin jacks are offered in sizes 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm; 3mm; 6mm. Plating is silver over a brass or T2 copper body, and both plating and material can be customized to a customer's requirements. The black insulating housing keeps the pins grouped into a block that can be arranged in several configurations.
Applications
Linked to the Electric Vehicles application, these pin blocks are used in EV charging connectors where the pin count and arrangement are defined by the customer. Where a project falls outside the charging connector line, a full set of industry-use connector jacks is available in 1.5/3/5.7/6/8/9.07/10/12/14/15/16/18/20/22mm -28mm, with individual current levels customized to customer needs. Springs for shielding, supplied in 35mm2, 50mm2, 75mm2 and 90mm2, simplify quick shielding interfaces and can be customized to the individual needs of customers.
