Description
This slant coil spring is a silver-plated contact ring wound for high-current connector terminals. It carries no fixed part number; the ring is defined by its wire diameter, supplied anywhere across the 0.10–2.0 mm range, together with a material and plating finish matched to the connector it will mate inside. Silver is the photographed finish, with gold and nickel offered for the same ring form. Plating and material can be tuned together, so the same wire diameter can be delivered with different contact finishes. The ring is offered as a loose part for integration by the connector manufacturer.

Because the wire range is this wide, a single ring family covers the smallest and the largest contact bores listed across the charging-connector range. Size, plating specifications and materials can all be adjusted to customer requirements, and custom rings are produced from the same wire stock at any diameter inside the window.
EV Charging Connector Application
In new energy electric vehicle connectors, the ring is used in charging connectors. The full set of these charging connectors uses jacks: pin jacks 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm and 3mm; 6mm. The jacks are silver plated in brass or T2 copper, with their plating and materials customizable as well. The product links to electric vehicles, high-speed rail, energy storage and battery testing, and industrial and robotics applications.
