The application range of spring fingers covers high-, medium- and low-voltage power equipment, high-speed rail, oil exploration and testing equipment, and new energy vehicles. A spring finger is a new type of electrical connection product with a simple structure, easy installation, strong current-carrying capacity and low cost. It is widely used in high-voltage switchgear, high-speed rail, petroleum exploration and testing equipment, and new energy vehicles.

Design and manufacture at SISE

Dongguan SISE (Spring-in-Spring) Electronics Co., Ltd. independently develops and produces spring fingers. A special forming process followed by multiple precise heat-treatment steps ensures the accuracy and performance of the product. The company was founded in October 2011 to design, test and manufacture elastic conductive electronic components, and moved to Chang'an Town, Dongguan in May 2018. It operates a CNC lathe workshop, a spring workshop, an assembly workshop and a laboratory.

Product performance

To meet the connector industry's increasing demand for high-current connectors, SISE has developed a new bidirectional coil spring finger (SiS) and a single-turn spring finger. These form multiple columnar deformation contact points, up to more than 300. The springs meet a service life of more than 100,000 mating cycles, the contact current density and temperature rise are close to those of a transmission cable, and the plugging force is about 10 N.

Typical products and end uses

The product range covers PCB board-to-board and board-to-wire connectors, cylindrical quick-connect self-locking connectors with plastic and metal shells, male and female connectors with equal loading, electric-vehicle chargers and series connectors for high-voltage power battery packs. These are used in high-current energy collection, energy storage and electrical equipment such as electric vehicles, charging base stations, wind generators, power supplies, high-speed rail and heavy trucks. The company holds a number of national patents, and the products have passed international standard testing.
