Description

Technology
The finger is built on the two-way coil spring contact (SiS®) and single-coil spring contact, which form multiple row-shaped deformation contacts (can be more than 300 points), meet a mating-service life of more than 100,000 cycles, and hold current density and temperature rise close to those of the transmission cable at a mating force of about 10N.
It is used in new-energy EV charging connectors for the 3mm; 6mm pin jack family. Linked applications are Electric Vehicles, High-Speed Rail, Energy Storage & Battery Testing and Industrial & Robotics.
Ordering from the assorted ring set lets an engineer qualify the full diameter spread at once before locking a bore size for production. Each ring is produced to its own drawing, and the finish can be specified silver or tin to match the customer's plating requirement. When production volume is locked, the same finger can be supplied in a single repeated size.
