Description
The crown spring jack is built around a silver-plated multi-groove female socket fitted with five matching canted coil spring rings, one ring per groove, as shown in the product photograph. Each groove holds a ring so the crown-style jack spreads the contact along the pin instead of concentrating it in one place. It is offered for new-energy electric vehicle (EV) charging connectors and for industrial connector applications, and is the family member that specifies its spring wire diameter directly.
Wire, materials and plating
Wire diameter: 0.10-2.0mm. Electroplating: silver; Gold; Nickel, etc. Material: copper alloy; stainless steel, etc. Size is customizable (see accessories), and plating specifications and materials can be customized to customer requirements, which lets the crown spring jack be tuned for the specific finish a charging or industrial program requires.
Pin jack sizes: 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm; 3mm; 6mm. An industry-use jack range in sizes 1.5/3/5.7/6/8/9.07/10/12/14/15/16/18/20/22mm -28mm is also available, with individual current levels customized according to customer needs, so one crown spring jack family covers both the EV charging connector sizes and the industrial jack sizes listed here.
Shielding springs in 35mm2, 50mm2, 75mm2, 90mm2, etc. simplify quick shielding interfaces. Because the crown spring jack is specified by wire diameter rather than by a fixed part number, the five-ring socket shown in the image is a starting configuration that can be re-worked for the required wire size, plating and material.
