Description

This industrial connector is machined as a spring probe block whose serrated contact tips make the electrical path into the mating terminal, with a loose pin carried in the assembly for the return side. The serrations give the probe multiple bite points on the counter-surface, which suits high-current links in equipment that is coupled and uncoupled by hand or by machine. It is linked to Electric Vehicles and Industrial & Robotics.

Specifications

The block is silver plated and machined from brass or T2 copper. Standard pin jack sizes cover 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm and 3mm; 6mm. Plating and materials can be customized according to customer requirements, and the photographed form pairs the serrated contact tips with a loose pin in a block assembly ready to be fitted into a connector housing.

Industrial Range

Beyond the block, industry-use connector jacks extend to sizes 1.5/3/5.7/6/8/9.07/10/12/14/15/16/18/20/22mm -28mm, so probe and socket families can be paired across a machine. Individual current levels can be customized according to customer needs, and shielding springs in 35mm2, 50mm2, 75mm2, 90mm2 are offered for quick shielding interfaces. This makes it possible to build a full power path — probe block at the movable end, jack at the fixed end — in one sourcing pass.
