Industrial Plug

The Industrial Plug is the pin side of a high-current connector pair, with canted coil spring contacts wrapped around the terminal so the spring lines press against the mating socket around its full circumference. This multi-line contact form is chosen for power feeds where vibration and repeated make/break are expected, which is why the plug is linked to both Electric Vehicles and Industrial & Robotics. It is machined from brass or T2 copper with silver plating as standard, and the photographed form is a plug connector built around canted coil spring contacts for high-current applications. The plug carries the canted coil elements that do the actual contacting, while the matching socket receives them, so the two halves are engineered as a complementary pair and specified together for a given wire and bore size.

Specifications

The plug is made for pin jack sizes 1.58mm; 2.8mm; 3.6mm; 3mm; 6mm. Silver plating is standard over brass or T2 copper, and plating and materials can be customized according to customer requirements. It belongs to the charging-connector family.

Industrial Range

For panel and machine wiring, industry-use connector jacks are available in sizes 1.5/3/5.7/6/8/9.07/10/12/14/15/16/18/20/22mm -28mm, with individual current levels customized to customer needs — a practical match for robotic arms, servo lines and charging cabinets where the plug meets a fixed socket. Shielding springs in 35mm2, 50mm2, 75mm2, 90mm2 are also offered, providing a quick way to complete a shielding interface around the connector.
